Product Care for Pure Fabric

  1. Washing
    • Dry Clean Recommended: Best to maintain texture, drape, and color—especially for pure fabric.
    • If Hand Washing:Use cold water and a very mild detergen
    • Do not rub, wring, or twist the fabric—crepe is delicate and prone to distortion.
    • Rinse gently and thoroughly
  2. Drying
    • Do Not Wring: Gently press water out by rolling the item in a towel.
    • Flat Dry or Hang Indoors: Avoid direct sunlight to prevent color fading or weakening of fibers.
    • Use a padded hanger to avoid marks if hanging.
  3. Ironing
    • Steam or Low Heat Only: Pure crepe can scorch easily under high heat.
    • Always iron on the reverse side using a pressing cloth if needed.
    • Avoid over-ironing to retain the natural texture.
  4. Storage
    • Store Flat or Gently Folded: To avoid stretching or permanent creases.
    • Use muslin or breathable fabric bags—avoid plastic.
    • For sarees: Refold regularly to avoid creases settling.
  5. General Tips
    • Crepe’s natural crinkled texture is its charm—don’t try to flatten it completely.
    • Keep away from perfumes, deodorants, or hairsprays as they may stain or weaken the fabric over time.
